Hi everyone!!!
This week has been great, I sure am learning how to work very hard, and I’m seeing miracles all the time and it is so amazing!
One of the things that I have noticed is because of this holiday season everyone is really nice, and talkative! We were able to find a new investigator this week by street contact!!! I’m actually very scared of street contact, it’s not my thing! I’m getting used to it and actually it’s a lot more fun than getting doors shut in your face! Anyway we got lost and we were looking for a map to find the next place and we found Shirley! She is great, with red fire hair! It’s going to be amazing to start to teach her!
We had the chance to teach Ximena two times this week! Once for family home evening which turned into just preparing her for the first lesson which happened the next day at a member’s home. It was truly amazing! We talked about the restoration and at the end when we had brother Adams read the moronic promise about the book of Mormon her eyes started to tear up and said, this is what she needs to do to find out if it is true, and now she is reading everything we give her and is asking for more! She also is set for a baptismal date for Jan 25! She is a little bit skeptical but we testified about how we got our answers to the truth about this religion and she said she would try!!!! She is so golden! It’s so great!!! THIS IS WHY I AM HERE!!!!!!
We have started this new thing that we have to talk to 15 people before we can go home at night. It has made the work fun and we are talking to everyone we see. It’s just starting to get us more motivated. We are truly enjoying the work!!!
I have been feeling like I have become complacent, since I have been in the same place for so long. Not that I don’t love it here, I do, but I used to feel like I have tried everything I could and that no one was interested in learning more. That is so not true! As Sister Hiatt and I change how we do things and how we look at things the work is progressing and we are having fun and our attitudes are so much better!
We had dinner with Rose last Monday and it was wonderful. Rose is a very shy person, but she loves having us over! We had a short lesson afterwards and she told us that she is not sure if the book of Mormon is true. She has been trying to find fault with our religion and cant! She is now at full force progressing to be baptized on January 25th which is great!
One of the things I truly love about being in this area so long is I am able to see how the lord softens people’s hearts! I love to see the changes in Ximena, Rose and even Norma who was a former investigator, and now we are teaching her again, it’s so great!
Sister Hiatt and I are getting along so well! We are working very hard and we just are loving this work, it’s so nice to be with a companion that works with you and will help you change into the person you want to be!
I have been studying the Saviors birth this week in my studies. From the prophesying to the actual thing, both in the bible and in the Book of Mormon it’s been amazing!!!
We had the Christmas devotional this week! It was truly amazing; I loved all the wonderful musical numbers! It truly brought the Christmas spirit into my heart!
One more thing, it does not feel like it is Christmas in two days!!! Its sooooooo sunny and warm here, what is with that!!! This weather is not what I am used to for Christmas!
Well I love you all! I hope you ALL have a wonderful Christmas!! Thank you all for your prayers and love, I feel it every day!

Week Before Christmas
Hello everyone!
This week was really good!
Some of the highlights this week: Our investigator Ximena, who we have just been doing FHE with agreed to take the lessons! YIPPY!!! Sister Hiatt and I have been praying on how we can approach her and ask if she would like to take the lessons, and it kinda just happen! So now we are meeting with her 2 times a week, one at a member’s home for a lesson and another time at her home for FHE it’s so great! I love the spirit she brings to us!
We had a relief society dinner on Thursday and all of our female investigators came! Including a former investigator that we invited and she now wants to continue learning more!
Again it was a good week! Sister Hiatt and I are getting along very nicely we are finding new people to teach and working really, really hard!
We have been doing the 12 days of Christmas for our investigators and less actives! We printed a bunch of inspiring quotes from my mom’s package that she sent me, and on Christmas day we are going to show up to their houses with the last card and cupcakes! We think it will really strengthen the faith of the people we visit!
I can’t believe I have already been out on a mission for almost five months it is so crazy!!!
I truly, truly love this work and the spirit that is with me always!
One of my favorite things this week was on Sunday when Ximena said she loves this church and loves the spirit of this church. She said she feels so much better going to this one instead of the catholic one :).
We also met the man this week his name is Cameron, we just knocked on his door and he answered, he has friends that are Mormon so he knew who we were. We taught him the restoration right on his door step, the spirit was so strong. He did tell us that he was a waste of time, he has had a bad life so far, he made the wrong kind of choices. He is open, he listens and he felt the spirit! We gave him a book of Mormon... I don’t know why but this man and his story and how he responded and reacted to our message built my testimony so much! We asked him what he sees in his Mormon friends that is different from his other friends and he said, "they are always happy"!
It’s so true we have an amazing thing going for us! This is the true church! I know and believe this to be true, and it does bring happiness, true Happiness! I hope one day he will except the gospel into his life and be truly happy: )!
I am enjoying the Christmas season. Who wouldn’t enjoy teaching about Christ during Christmas Time? I love that my life right now is so focused on our savior and his teachings and his church.
My mom sent the 12 days of Christmas to us and it is the highlight of our evening, all four of us look forward to 9:30 we gather in the living room and read the Christmas story and the scripture and then we open the treat that goes with the story. So FUN! It brings a sweet spirit into our apartment. One of the sisters in our ward brought us a real tree with lights it’s fun to have something Christmassy around to help us remember the season.
Thank you for all your support!
I love all your letters!

Christmas Broadcast Week
Hello every one!
This week has been so good! So hard but it all turned out good!
Getting a new companion is always a change, getting to know them. Learning how to work with them, Sister Hiatt and I are working so well together it’s so great! We both want to make this area better, and to teach and baptize people here in Agoura hills! We have worked really hard this week and it has been really refreshing! She is also teaching me a lot, even though I’m done with training I feel like she has so much to teach me before I go to Brazil!
It’s going to be great transfer!
Transfer meeting was awesome! I always get so spiritually fed, Sister Castro got up there and started talking about how to fine inner peace and how as missionaries it is our job to bring that peace to people!
Being a missionary is so cool!
Sister Hiatt and I get along great!
We had an experience at church that was just awesome! One of our investigators, Ximena came to church this Sunday, and she was raised catholic, well our lesson in gospel principles was about prayer, and she had amazing questions! She loved the fact that we don’t have wrote prayers and we don’t confess our sins to a preacher, she said doing that she always felt empty and this way makes a lot more sense to her! She is progressing and Sister Hiatt and I are going to teach her again on Thursday! She and her family just have such a desire to learn! Its so fun to watch and be a part of this WORK!
We are also working way more effectively, talking to more people and looking for opportunities to teach! It’s great! I have had a really good week this week. Sister Hiatt and I got an opportunity to go to the Christmas broadcast! If you didn’t see it, you need to. Elder Nelsons talk was so awesome it brought tears to our eyes! I hope everyone gets the chance to watch it!
I Love you ALL! Enjoy the SEASON!

December already?
Hi ALL!!!!
I am doing great! I am excited to be with my new companion tomorrow and move the work forward!
It was really hard to see Sister Klemm go last Tuesday night but I know the lord wants her back at Temple Square, but before she left on Tuesday we had an awesome lesson with ximena! We taught her about prophets! Her family is so awesome! She made the most delicious cupcakes for us, it was awesome!
I love it! Being in a trio with Sister Snow and Sister Mapa was tough, but we worked out our differences and the rest of the week went pretty good, thanksgiving was great.
It’s a very different Thanksgiving here on a mission. In personal study I was able to read a bunch of scriptures about being thankful, and it really helped me get in the mood of thanksgiving. It was great to fill my heart with good messages. Right before we went to diner we got a call from Steve’s wife saying, she thinks we are nice girls, but she does not want religion to be talked about it her home, that was really hard to hear! Steve was so prepared and wanting to know more about the gospel last week! We will go back this week and see what Steve thinks, I’m just a little bummed because he was so prepared! I am learning that everything happens for a reason and I know that Steve will join the church one day!
It was really fun weekly planning for two wards both the 1st and the 2nd, I learned how much you have to coordinate and help each other out. Sunday was 6 hours of church! So amazing! Felt the spirit so much the whole day! It sure was a long fast Sunday. In second ward they had a huge member missionary meeting and it was awesome. The members are so ready to get going and inviting their friends! It is so awesome that the ward is so excited! :)
Oh my gosh I have been on a mission for 4 months! I can’t believe it so crazy! It goes by so fast!
It was a good week of new experiences and I can’t wait for this next transfer She gets here on Tuesday. I’m ready to get teaching.
Love you all…remember Jesus is the reason for this incredible season!

Week before Thanksgiving
Hi you all!
So this week was an AWESOME missionary moment’s week!!!!
We had a referral from a member in semi valley that helped this guy out in a car accident and shared the gospel with him. He was interested, so we stopped by his apartment. We had the weirdest lesson EVER, but greatest also! We went into his daughter’s room and we sat on the floor with all these rugs and animals running around! His daughter was so nice!! She has awesome values! Well we taught a mini restoration lesson with Kayla and Steve. The next day he had a priesthood blessing and we taught about the book of Mormon, it was awesome. He is so prepared and wants to hear and know about the gospel!
Sister Klemm and I found unity in teaching this week! We have been teaching great lessons and it’s been more unified! So awesome!!!!
Zone conference this week was inspiring! It really was! President Castro talked about us visa waiters, and how hard it is to be one! The zone conference lasted from 9:30am to 7:30 pm. It was a long day!
I get a new companion this Wednesday!!! I have no idea who it’s going to be! Sister Klemm is leaving, (SAD) back to temple square. So I’m just a floater till transfers next Monday... :) So that’s awesome!
This week has strengthened my testimony on member missionary work! It’s so important!
The really good investigators we get are from members and when members are involved in the work! Member missionary work is super important and I invite you all to start praying for missionary opportunities!!!
This week was cool!
Ximena and her family came to church today and we uncovered her big hang up, it’s the word of wisdom. We will be addressing that on Tuesday. She is so awesome I just love her!
Well I hope everyone has a great THANKSGIVING! I am grateful for you all and for your love and prayers.
I love you all!

Hi you all-
This week was great we taught Ximena and Giovanis family a great
lesson for family home evening! They were so receptive and it’s so
great to see Giovanni back in the church! They even came to church on Sunday for all three hours! It was a bit long for them but they said this is where they need to be!!! I love them! The mom Ximena is so awesome and they are just loving learning about God and Jesus Christ because the kids do not have a background in any religion! The Parents believe it is the right time to add this back into their lives.
Ashely is one of the less actives we teach. We are trying to help her build her testimony. She wants to try to teach us the Isaiah
chapters in 2nd Nephi! It is so great that she wants to get involved and learn more, I am looking forward to it!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THAT AWSOME 100 DAY PACKAGE!!!!!
It was so awesome!!!! I loved all 100 of the letters!
I can’t believe that it’s almost thanksgiving!
Time is going by way to fast its scary!
Missionary work is awesome, full of ups and downs but the ups are always fantastic!
I love you all have a great week!

Second week of November
Some Sweet members made German food for Sister Klemm
These are the Browns they are our ward mission leaders
Look at his shirt...Cool HUH!
Hi Everyone,
This week was so good!
First we had exchanges on Thursday and that was so awesome! Sister Randall is so cool!
We talked a lot to Chris, our recent convert who is struggling so much! I pray for him all the time and still we don’t know what to do to help him gain a stronger testimony of the church! He loves the church, he just does not know if he believes in it anymore, which breaks my heart!
It was an awesome exchange I learned a lot form her that I can apply in my daily life. My new goal is to develop the Christ like attribute charity! :)
This Sunday was so good! We had three of our investigators come. One, a new investigator, her husband and son are less active. We found them knocking a few weeks ago, we went over there again on Wednesday. She said we had answered her prayer, this morning she prayed to know what church to take her kids too, she and her three little ones are not baptized. She said we answered her prayers when we knocked on her door that night :) so good!
We also had breakfast at our investigators Roses house which was so good. We watched the restoration and she felt the spirit!
We have been blessed this week with so many good experiences!
Sister Klemm and I are getting along well!
She is pretty awesome! We are getting along very well with the members! They are so cool!
We had a great week! Hope you all have a good week!

Me and Sister Klemm
My first international letter...to the Holdaways! Love you all!
Hi All
This week was pretty good! We did not get a chance to meet with our investigators so that was sad, but a whole lot of other great things happened.
Sister Klemm and I are doing well. We are finding people to teach slowly, we are working hard! We are meeting with some less actives; hopefully we will be able to get them active again! We have a new investigator Lia. She is a referral from Pam our recent convert. She has so many questions so that’s good.
All in all this week has been good!
We saw a miracle yesterday! We got a call from Rose one of our investigators, she said she is finally in town on Sunday and would love to have us over at her house for lunch and then we can go to church together! How awesome is that!!!
We were able to take a return missionary, Kim out with us:) We tracked a little and visited some people, placed a Book of Mormon, it was a lot of fun!!! We are having a great time visiting people!
We are making a lot of success with Ashley (less active) she went to church all three hours! Big happy day!!!!
Loving it here and loving the work! Always would love letters!
Love you all! Have an awesome week!

Transfer Week
Hello Ya all!
This week has been very good, I have had to adjust a lot this week but it’s all a learning experience and I love it!
We were able to talk to a lot of people this week!!! Some really, really good declarations! We were able to teach this woman, a member referral! She has a lot of questions and we are very excited to meet with her again!
We had one of our investigators Tiffany drop us, she feels like she has too much going on and her husband who is a less active member is not receptive, it was really sad. L We will continue to slowly visit and Love them and hopefully get them back in full force teaching again!
This week was the Halloween party!!!! It was so much fun!! Pretty much all of the members brought non-member friends! It was so huge! We got to talk to a lot of people and just have a blast! Good food, good fun and missionary work! :)
Sister klemm is my new companion, she is from Germany and she is so great! She is English as a second language so it’s a little difficult! It’s going to be just like this in Brazil so bring it on!!
We are getting along okay; she is very different and has a very different teaching style. She is a Temple Square Sister, each of the Temple Square Sisters do this out of bound thing, where they go see what missionary work is like in the field, they all stay here two transfers, and I’m her second transfer. I’m getting used to her and the changes.
I love her! She is just a great missionary! She is so motivated and teaching me a ton of new things! We are getting a lot of work done! :) Did I say I love her!?!
I have been focusing a lot on Preach my Gospel for personal study, it’s been great! I have been going through all of the scriptures and writing a little bit about each one of them in my book!
It’s been so great!
I can’t wait for this week!
Letters would be great!
Thank-you for those who sent letters :)
Love You all

Last week
Hello all
So this week was crazy!!!!!
Transfers are no joke!!!!!
Wow so I am staying in Agora hills 1rst ward, but my companion Sister Casper is moving on, also the other sisters that live with us, Sister Mason is moving on and Sister Mapa (who is going to brazil ) is staying!!!
We are partying.
Sister Casper is leaving. I know so sad! We will be friends forever so it’s okay!
This week one of our investigators Cherry came to sacrament!!!! So awesome!!!
This week was full of tracting and talking to people, lots of fun times with Sister Casper! We said goodbye to a lot of people and we have had just a great week!!!
We did not teach a lot this week but we did a lot of tracting so I know our work will be rewarded!
I can’t wait to meet my new companion her name is Sister Clemm she is from Germany. That’s all I know I will find out more tomorrow!
I have felt the spirit so much this week. My patience has also been tried A LOT but I’m learning and enjoying missionary work.
We went to a homecoming last night for dinner. After me and Sister Casper both started to cry saying, I DONT WANT TO GO HOME! LOL! It’s a long way off but with how fast the weeks go....
We said good bye to our district so that was sad!
The work must go on and people leave when their work is done in that area!
I love it here so much, and I love the people!
Have good week!

Mady's investigator called
So I just got the greatest Phone call from a lady in Madys mission.
Mady tracked into her today.
When she opened the door Mady noticed her daughter, the companion was talking to the mom and Mady kind of went around them and started talking to the disabled daughter.
The mother was so impressed she pulled the girls in and ordered pizza and they have been talking to her for the last 2 hours. This sweet lady called me on the phone to tell me that god loved her enough to send my daughter to her door. Then through her tears she asked me if I could help her with some apps for her daughter, and we exchanged emails so I could help with tech resources for her daughter.

Hi you all!
This week has been really good. We are in the finding mode so we have a lot of tracting, but other than that, we have a few lessons we teach.
We taught our investigator Rose Tubor. She is the one person that we thought would never accept a date to be baptized. She has committed to January 25! I was able to extend that invitation and it was just amazing! I bore my testimony and my conversion story and then I invited her! We all prayerfully picked out the date of January 25th! I don’t know why it is so far away but the lord knows and it is his hands!!!
Sister Casper and I are getting along great! We have had some really good experiences together!
This week I have found out how much the lord answers your prayers, even though sometimes they feel endless at times!
I’m am loving working on patience (the Christ like attribute). I feel like it has really strengthened me with what we deal with every day!
So it’s the last week of the transfers!!!!
Can you believe it I have been on my mission for two transfers!!!
I am so happy being a missionary and learning new things!!!
I have never prayed as much as I have this week!!!
I hope everyone is well I love you all!

Hi all!
This week was great!
We declared a lot but I think we found someone! We knocked Canijo View for two days because we just felt like there was someone there!
We are making a lot of progress with Tiffney.
We had a great lesson with Cherry, Cherry is a fantastic old black woman! She is so awesome and so ready!!!! Her husband is a fire man, she is the most selfless woman I have ever met besides my MOM! I love her so much!!! She is so ready, but she is just so busy!
Sister Casper and I are doing great! We are enjoying having a car. We now are able to visit way more people!
We are having a great time! Laughing and joking around! Its way fun! I love sister Casper a lot!
I am so dreading that phone call on the 20th ... end of transfers we are starting to work harder on gaining the trust of the ward members, and I hope that, will help the work progress!
I hope everyone is having a great week! love you all!

Hello-
This week was Hard, but good!
I learned a lot about the people of Augora hills and how to talk to them.
Sister Katie Casper and I are getting along great! She is awesome and really keeps me going.
She never gets any letters! I love her so much and it would be cool to see her get letters! SOOO if you have a moment could you write her? She likes cars, she’s a tomboy, loves the lord, hates the color pink and is extremely thrifty! I have never thought I would get along with someone so well!!

Our numbers were not so great this week… and it made me sad, but I know that we are working really, really hard and we will just keep going!
One of our investigators tiffany is having a really hard time with marital problems and her pregnancy, but she loves talking to us! Her husband is a very inactive member. She has asked for a priesthood blessing next week! We can’t wait to teach her another lesson.
All in all this week I have learned so much! Yes it was hard but now I know I can make it through a lot!
I love it here in sunny California!!! Its great!! My burn turned into a tan and now I look so white compared to my arms and legs.
We had president interviews this week and they were awesome! I love my president so much!
He doesn’t know anything about my visa! DARN! I know that it will come!
I can’t believe I have been on my mission for two months today! It’s great!
All we have been doing is knocking doors! It’s all good! We will find someone eventually! The Lord is in CHARGE.
I hope that everyone’s week is going good!! I would love some letters!!!! I hope your week is awesome!!
Do you remember me saying that we were car sharing with another set of sisters so we walked a lot? Well they got a car!!!! So now we actually have to fallow our area lines Trader Joes is the only grocery store witch is awesome!
It’s weird! I love the people here the ward is so awesome!!! I love our ward mission leader brother Brown! He is sooooo awesome!!! Just having a blast
I hope my week will go great! Can’t wait to hear from you guys!!
Love You all

Hi All!
My week was really good!!!!!
I am getting used to all this tracting and we are trying to make it fun!
My companion is awesome! This work is awesome!! I love being here and I absolutely love the people!
I get to teach a little bit more but it’s mostly tracting. I really believe this is where I am supposed to learn and grow...
Nothing really big happened this week, but I did go on splits and it was so much fun!!!!
So while tracting I got the most grooviest burn ever!!!! It’s fantastic and now it’s the DARKEST TAN!!! People said I couldn’t tan! I have got news for you I sure can tan!!!
We are getting way more dinner appointments which is really good because food is really expensive here!!! crazy!!! I saw the bachelor’s mansion this week!!The one from the TV show!!! I am so cool Right! LOL!!!
Our newly baptized family Chris and Pam are having problems! Pam is so firm in the gospel but Chris started smoking and drinking again!!!! ahhhhggg! So we are dealing with that..
All in all great week!
I truly love everyone here and love you all

Hello everyone!
I'm sending you my greetings from a sunny palm tree filled California!
This week has been crazy crazy crazy!!!! I can't believe it, so much has changed!!!
First off I'm in Angora hills! the Bachelors Mansion is in my area! So is Justin Bieber, Salina Gomez and Britney Spears!! Isn't that so awesome!!!
So here in this area all we do is tract, tract, tract, and more tracting which is hard, but so worth it!
I have met a few people Pam and her family are recent converts and our fantastic, I fell in love with them right away! She has adopted two down syndrome kids that are so sweet!!! I love them so much.
My companion is awesome! She is a lot like me and we are determined to get this work done one door at a time!.
I have been eating a lot of peanut butter noodles! love love love!! Food here is so pricey!
We met with this member named Ashley and she has a minor case of High functioning autism. She says she has hard time feeling the spirit, so we are just trying to get her to feel that and to understand that the Lord loves her!
So that's pretty much what has been happening
Love you all and hope you have a great week!
